Art on the Harbor

Artists and jewelry artisans now have a direct path to collectors in key affluent markets aboard SeaFair: The Megayacht Venue. International Fine Art Expositions (IFAE) and SeaFair founders David and Lee Ann Lester have announced "Art on the Harbor", to allow face to face interactions between artists and collectors aboard the world's first mobile megayacht venue.

SeaFair provides a private interactive experience for artists and artisans with current and prospective clients," said David Lester. "Collectors can directly view contemporary art and jewelry in a luxurious shipboard environment, without leaving their local communities. This innovative program offers artists and artisans an upscale platform and direct channel to sell their works and meet new collectors."

Each fair is meticulously created by a board of art experts composed of gallery owners, museum professionals and experienced IFAE staff. All applicants and participants must be approved in advance by the committee. Regional gallery owners are invited aboard to meet with participating artists and view their work, making possible future gallery representation.

"Art on the HARBOR" will take place in:

Miami Beach, Florida - December 9-12, 2009
As a pre-Christmas show, the fair will draw attendees from Miami's wealthy, year-round collector-base as well as its affluent winter residents from New York and other northeast cosmopolitan areas.

Sarasota, Florida - January 27 – 30, 2011
At the height of Florida's winter season, the fair opens up this lucrative art market on Florida's West Coast to artists and artisans. Known for its rich tapestry of arts, there is no other community of its size in Florida that supports as many significant arts and cultural institutions.

Palm Beach, Florida - March 17 – 20, 2011
This well-heeled community has supported multiple art fairs over the past two decades, and this show fills a void in the marketplace after the city's land-based fairs are over. Seafair will dock in the heart of the luxurious and bustling community, drawing affluent winter and year-round residents.
