Cultural Consumer Workshop Series, November 6th

This is a continuation of a conversation on the Cultural Consumer that
took place in Spring of this year. If you missed the first forum, don't
worry, the topic is fresh, with new voices and new ideas to share, and
we need your voice this time around!

About the Exhibition: Raising Our Voices
In the all-inclusive spirit of the mail art show, all works submitted will be displayed. Artists are encouraged to submit works in any media and on any subject so long as they fit within the eligibility guidelines. Thus artists can use this exhibition as a means of either offering social or political commentary or of simply expressing beauty. Part of the proceeds from this show will benefit the Differently Minded Art Studio in Chicago, IL. This exhibition is open to any and all members of the St. Louis and Chicago chapters of the Women's Caucus for Art.

Summer 2008 Performance Art Workshops with Barbara Neri

Barbara Neri will teach two Performance Art Workshops via Pinckney Community Education at her spacious studio in Hamburg Township, MI. The dynamic elements of performance will be learned and experimented with during these workshops. All experience levels welcome. Workshops are limited to 18 participants each. Fee: $135.00.

Also announcing the formation of PERFORMANCE GROUP. The group will meet regularly and work on an original interdisciplinary group performance piece with Neri’s artistic direction.
