The maximum dimensions are 6 ’x 10 ’and must not weigh more than 50 lbs. uncrated. Art on the Harbor
SeaFair provides a private interactive experience for artists and artisans with current and prospective clients," said David Lester. "Collectors can directly view contemporary art and jewelry in a luxurious shipboard environment, without leaving their local communities. This innovative program offers artists and artisans an upscale platform and direct channel to sell their works and meet new collectors."
Each fair is meticulously created by a board of art experts composed of gallery owners, museum professionals and experienced IFAE staff. All applicants and participants must be approved in advance by the committee. Regional gallery owners are invited aboard to meet with participating artists and view their work, making possible future gallery representation.
"Art on the HARBOR" will take place in:
Miami Beach, Florida - December 9-12, 2009
As a pre-Christmas show, the fair will draw attendees from Miami's wealthy, year-round collector-base as well as its affluent winter residents from New York and other northeast cosmopolitan areas.
Sarasota, Florida - January 27 – 30, 2011
At the height of Florida's winter season, the fair opens up this lucrative art market on Florida's West Coast to artists and artisans. Known for its rich tapestry of arts, there is no other community of its size in Florida that supports as many significant arts and cultural institutions.
Palm Beach, Florida - March 17 – 20, 2011
This well-heeled community has supported multiple art fairs over the past two decades, and this show fills a void in the marketplace after the city's land-based fairs are over. Seafair will dock in the heart of the luxurious and bustling community, drawing affluent winter and year-round residents.

SDWCA juried show on-line exhibit
San Diego Womens Caucus for Art is launching an on-line gallery and exhibition space.
In a refreshing departure from traditional gallery operations, artists will not have to play the who-knows-who, elitist game to be featured in this gallery. They will be selected for their talent. Our online art gallery will be dedicated to helping contemporary artists display their original art while making it easier for the public to find them. The public can use the online gallery to search or browse for original art, then contact the artists or their galleries. We simply highlight the artists and their art. We provide a way to find art, artists, and galleries and help artists promote their contemporary art.
All WCA members are invited to participate in juried and non-juried exhibitions. The SDWCA juried show website is directly linked to our WCA chapter website.
Here is the theme of our first on-line juried show
GOING GREEN - SUMMER 2010
The exhibition objective is to present a collection of work that uses organic, natural, sustainable. recycled materials, non-toxic materials or digital methods. It is hoped that the works will educate the audience about environmental crises; art that informs and interprets natural processes; art that reinvents or reclaims natural found articles; and art that celebrates our emotional and physical connection to the earth. Ultimately, the juror seeks visually compelling creations that educate, enlighten, and inspire stewardship of the earth.
Mollie Kellogg, local artist will be our juror. Mollie studied art in Colorado starting her career in graphic design and illustration. In 1992, she co-founded Planet Earth Multi-Cultural Theatre and Gallery in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2002, Mollie moved from Seattle, Washington to San Diego, California where she is working full-time as an artist. Mollie will be looking for art that incorporates natural processes; art that reinvents or reclaims natural found articles; and art that celebrates our emotional and physical connection to the earth. Ultimately, she seeks visually compelling creations that educate, enlighten, and inspire stewardship of the earth.
